EXAMPLE OF GENERATION CALAMITIES
2 Samuel 12:9-14
After the inequity of David Four results came:
1. Ever present war
2. Rebellion
3. Wives and women of his household to be publicly abused by
neighbour v 11
4. David to die
David confessed and his own personal result was taken care of because he confessed for himself v 13.
But the effect of the sin on the household was not removed.
- Amnon raped his half sister.
- Absalom plotted assassination
- Absalom rose up against David and went into his fathers wives
- Solomon executed his own brother Adonijah
- Nobody goes to hell because of Adam sin but we suffer from the result.
- We suffer from Abraham’s mistake.
