The Bible view of the Christian women is relevant in all generations, in all nations and to all classes of people. God’s standard is high for all his children including women who were so made by God and the various areas in which they ministered to God and the people of God. Their ministry was so profitable to their generation that they had to be recorded for our learning in the Bible; notable among these are: Hospitality, home keeping, including the care of the husband and children.
In the church, we find them as God’s ministers to edify the women folk and bring up the children in the fear of God.
Outside the church they are evangelists and soul winners reaching every creature (adults, youths, and children) in all walks of life with the gospel of the kingdom. There is no doubt the Lord want to challenge us through these women.
1. WOMEN’S MINISTRY IN THE HOME: Matt. 25:34-35, Heb. 13:21, Num. 5:10, II King 4:8-10, Gen. 18:2-11, I Sam. 1:28; Eph. 5:21-22.
God has given women a responsibility, primarily in the home. She is to be a true help-meet to the husband and to nurture and train the children in the way of the Lord. She is also to be hospitable and manage her home properly for the welfare and well-being of her family. Some women in the Bible received miracle children from God as a result of the practice of hospitality. God will remember us likewise as we minister in our various homes.
2. WOMEN’S MINISTRY IN THE CHURCH: Exod. 15:1, 20-21, Titus 2:3-5, Judges 5:1-2, I Sam. 2:1-2; I Tim. 5:9-10.
Christian Women in church must be actively involved in the fulfillment of the Great Commission. Christian women must be like Miriam and Deborah through singing (Exod. 15:20-21, Judges 5:1). Christian women, especially the aged should be involved in intercession (Acts 12:12-17). Visitation as a ministry among Christian women is invaluable to foster love, care and growth in our churches. Taking care of the widows, young ladies, young mothers and the single parents. Reaching out to market women and the prostitutes are great ministry areas for the women in the church.

3. WOMEN’S MINSTRY IN THE WORLD: (Matt. 28:19, 20, Mark 16:15, Luke 24:47, John 4:27-30, 39-42).
Evangelism is binding on every Christian Woman. It is the heart-beat of our Lord. The woman of Samaria is an example and a challenge to all Christian Women in this area of ministry. As many women as had met with the Lord should make haste to proclaim the good news to the inhabitants of the cities, villages and hamlets where we lives. (John 4:27). Mary Magdalene declare the resurrection news to the mourning and weeping disciples (John 20:10-18). Hospitals, prisons, motherless babies homes, and influential women are veritable evangelistic avenues. Friendship Evangelism must also be used.
We are given these ministries for the profit of our generation. In all these we are not t for ourselves, but the Lord is our Helper.
