1. Vision: Get God’s vision for your assignment and lead by that vision. There is no true leadership in the absence of vision.
2. Communication: Let communication be clear as to you part and the people’s part in the fulfillment of the vision. Say it often, say it in several ways until they know what you want.
3. Model Integrity: Your life and your words must agree together. Your life is your leadership. You cannot influence people who lack trust in you. If you cannot be trusted, you cannot be followed.
4. Competence: Show that you know what you are doing and how to do it. Improve and show excellence that brings positive results.
5. Courage: Refuse to be intimidated. Mask your fear and share your faith. Courage is the fear that have said its prayers.
6. Care and Love: Show that you care for the people. People do not care how much you know until they know how much you care.
7. Continuous Learning: Learn and keep on improving your leadership skills. Invite in your leadership every day.
