The Apostles deeply recognize the holy spirit. They take him as the true representative of Jesus. The book of Acts is truly the acts of the holy spirit because the apostles gave him room to operate recognize him.

1. They waited for him – Acts 2: 1-4.
We should truly wait upon him, spend time in his presence until he fills us with power. How will do in a day what we cannot do in 100 years.
2. They constantly seek his re- filling – Acts 4: 31; Gal. 5: 16, 25.
They were never satisfied. They want him more and were always in the spirit.
3. They prayed his prayers- Rom. 8: 26.
They ask for his leading and recognize him as their senior prayer leader. Prayed his prayers and thereby never experience any unanswered prayers.
4. They welcome his gifts- Acts. 2; 17-18; Rom. 1:11.
They conducts gifts services and ministrations. They listen to his voice, dream, vision and thereby prosper.
5. Allowing his leading and obeying him- Acts 13: 1-4; 8: 19-20.
They realise his executive power and went where he led them.
6. Pre-eminent position were accorded Him-Act 19:1-6; 10:38-46; 2:09; 5:32.
They preach his baptism and want everyone to possess Him. The work will be easier when all truly possess and are possessed by the spirit.
7. Spoke by his power and perform miracles – Acts 1:8; 5:33.
Thay are aware that without his power they are powerless. If he does not work, nothing will work and therefore sought his power and were successful.
8. Taught by his progressive revelation- 1 Cor. 2:9- 11; Acts 15: 23-29.
It was the spirit that reveals and taught them all those truths which they propound. They seek his mind and heart in matters of doctrine and life. 1Tim. 4:1.

9. He confirms their witness and prosper the work in their hands – (Acts 5:12- 16;11:12; Heb. 2:3-4; Act 20:28; Rom. 15:18-19; Mark 16:20).
Without the mighty working of the Holy Spirit t in our lives and ministry, the work will be hard and fruitless.
10. Cleanses the church when they allow his unhindered move-Act5:1-10.
The church was kept pure and holy by his all-seeing eye. He purge sin away from the church.
Because they welcome, recognize, allow, accept and fellowship with and cherish the mighty outworking of the holy spirit, they experience great things from God.

- Great persecution – Act 8:1
- Great suffering – Act 9:16
- Great Joy – Act 8:8
