The holy spirit is a pure, undefiled spirit; there is no dirtiness or unholiness in him.

He is not just a personification of divine energy by wholesome person. He is not an experience but a wholesome personality. He is everything a person should be.

B. Masculine pronoun was used for the holy spirit in several places – John 14: 16-26; John 16: 7-15; 15:26

C. His works prove his personality

  1. An individual accomplishes unique work based upon his intellect and will, which demonstrates his personality. So also, is the holy spirit.
  2. The holy spirit.
  3. Creates – Gen. 1:2
  4. Convicts – John 16:8
  5. Commands – Acts 8:29
  6. Comforts – John 14:26
  7. Teaches – John 16:13
  8. Intercede – Rom. 8:26

The holy spirit can be given personal treatment. He can be mistreated obeyed like the other person of the Godhead.
