When you believe in luck, you may end in lack. Belief in luck paralyses initiative, it kills creativity.

It is equivalent to gambling with life.

Luck = Preparation + Opportunity

David, was not lucky, he has been prepared in the wilderness.

Esther was not lucky in the palace, she was  prepared.

3. ACCOMMODATING FEAR

There are different types of fear, fear of death, fear of future, fear of failure, fear of the enemies. Etc.

The scripture says in about 365 times – fear not. Why must you fear.

There is an average of 140,000 – hair strand per head and all are numbered by God. he identifies each.

God is great enough to sustain you, no matter what you are passing through!

4. KEEPING COMPANY OF WRONG PEOPLE

When Lot and Abraham were together, Abraham was grounded. You must cut off from your Lot to see your promised land. Your problem may not be demons; it’s the people you are moving with. Gen 22:5

Avoid:

  • Negative people – ruled by problems, think impossibilities.
  • Former partners in iniquity.
  • Those who do not believe in you and your assignment.

5. BELITTLING OTHERS

Never belittle people; God may place them in your life for a reason. The small, insignificant person of yesterday is the celebrity you will see tomorrow!

God may use that person for you or your children.

Imagine that small boy with 5 loaves and 2 fishes.

That prisoner may get very close to the king tomorrow, don’t belittle him.

Those that started with you may not end it with you.

Abraham told his servants while on the way to sacrifice Isaac, – Stay here; I’m changing my level.

Not everybody can climb mountain with you.

“I called Abraham alone and I blessed him”
