Life is a journey. It is an adventurous journey, with many junctions.
“Junctions of life” are diverse stops in the road of life where direction could change for good or evil.
Heb 11:13, I Pet. 2:11
As I said on this journey, there are junctions. Some junctions could show more than once.
1. Junctions of Preparation: This is the youthful age of men when the understanding of men is shallow.
It is a stage of excitement and carelessness for the uninstructed. It is full of different kind of lust. 2 Tim. 2:22, we can call it “ Inordinate youthful desire”
#Lust of beauty: A woman at this stage, is more caring about the body than the future. Trial of all kind of fashion creams are made, at this stage some destroyed their skin for ever especially when there is no parental guidance. Jer. 13:23… “can the Ethiopian change his skin”.
#Lust of taste: wanting to taste hot drinks / cigarettes etc. depending on the type of associates.
2. Junction of Decision: This is a kind of junction that comes repeatedly.
… What carrier to choose
… Follow Jesus or not.
… Marry A or Marry B
This third example is of particular importance because it can determine a lot of things tomorrow.
*If you marry a devil, both of you may end in hell.
* If you opt for Jezebel, you may become a murderer.
Three things generally affect your decision:
- Association
- Observation. Psalm 1:2
- Instruction
Friends, colleagues, home video, preaching message.

3. Junction of Loneliness: sometimes, it will remain only you, you will be empty of friends and associates.
This stage where if you don’t have the spirit of God in you, you will take the wrong step. The solution here is prayer.
4. Junction of Confusion: This is where people need guidance and this is the function where deception is easy to contract. Bad friends here are poisonous.
5. Junction of Fear
6. Junction of Backsliding.
7. Junction of Weariness: where you are tired of life. This happen when somebody just drop dead. And you look at life and call it vanity. It is your vision / goal in life that can sustain you.
I don’t know which junction you are. There are junctions I didn’t mention
- Junction of Regret
- Junction of Disappointment
- Junction of Success
- Junction of Failure
- Junction of Frustration
- Junction of Stagnation
But wait, these are all junctions, they are not destination. No matter the junction you find yourself, “God will make a way”
